A new public safety building is being proposed for the town of Wrightsville Beach. It could cost more than $6 million. Do you think the town needs a new building for the fire and/or police department?
The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen are holding a public meeting on the issue tonight at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.

Beach Access 33 closed
Late last month, Public Beach Access #33 was closed after it was determined to be privately owned by the Murchison family.
The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen voted 3-2 last night to drop the issue and leave the beach access closed. Alderman Steve Whalen and Alderman David Cignotti voted against dropping the issue.
What do you think about this?
