Blow off self-serving $$$ developers $$$ who only want to build residences. We need reasonably-priced places to eat and some basic type services. People will walk to eat if they can get a decent fried seafood dinner. Waive the parking requirement. Last I heard one idea was to put a ladies' shoe store at Johnnie Mercer's pier. Who needs shoes at the beach?
